Grupo Santander announced the building of Distrito Querétaro, a four corporate buildings and commercial area project that means an important investment and the increase of the operations of the financial group in the state.
Only on its first phase, Distrito Querétaro will have an investment over 2,500-million pesos to develop an office building with a total surface of more than 32-thousand m² distributed in three floors and will be equipped with an auditorium for 260 people, 76 boardrooms, 244 collaborative spaces, 17 training rooms, a canteen, and over a thousand parking spaces.
Héctor Grisi Checa, Banco Santander México CEO, said that “the expansion that Santander will do, starting on July 2021, aims to consolidate the bank as the most important employer of the private sector in Querétaro by accumulating 10-thousand collaborators” with a total investment of over 2,600-million pesos in the state, making it one of the largest operative centers of the company alongside office in Spain, United Kingdom and Brazil.
Francisco Domínguez, Governor of Querétaro, expressed his gratitude towards the investment since it will help to create new jobs to compensate those lost over the pandemic.
Querétaro has great connectivity with other Mexican cities such as Ciudad de México, Toluca, Querétaro, Puebla, Guanajuato, Guadalajara, Zapopan, Zacatecas, Durango, Gómez Palacio, Torreón, Saltillo, Monterrey, Chihuahua, Tampico, Tijuana, Mexicali, Hermosillo, Obregón, Los Mochis, Culiacán, Mazatlán y Tepic.
