Fibra Uno put the amount of 694 million dollars in the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) and United States, of which 56% was between national investors and 44% with foreigners. "Last year foreigners took 23% of the offer, which almost doubled what was taken last week among foreign investors, with an operation twice the size," said Augusto Arellano, director of Protego Asesores, the placement agent .
A second primary public offering of Certificados Bursátiles Fiduciarios Inmobiliarios (CBFIs) was made at a price of 23.75 pesos per CBFI, barely 3% below the level at which it ended its quotation from before.
Its first offer of this type of instruments was made in March 2011 for 3,615 million pesos (mdp) or its equivalent to about 290 million dollars, after a frustrated attempt in February.
For the executive, the fact that foreigners have doubled the percentage of their share in the total offer speaks very well of an instrument that emerged just last year.
